When I came to New York alone as an immigrant, I carried the weight of being the eldest daughter — responsible, strong, and always holding it together for everyone else. For ten years, I worked in the hospitality industry, giving my energy, time, and heart to serve others. And while I learned the beauty of creating experiences for people, I also lost myself in the process. The long hours, the constant pressure, and the exhaustion took a toll. My skin broke out, my body grew tired, and my spirit felt worn.

Somewhere between the noise of the city and the quiet of my own room, I began to realize something: I had spent so much of my life caring for others, but I had forgotten what it meant to truly care for myself.
